Geobacillus stearothermophilus spore suspensions (# 7953) are used to inoculate complex instruments, carrier material and to monitor the success of low temperature steam formaldeyhde (LTSF) sterilization processes. This suspension can also be used to monitor steam and hydrogen peroxide sterilization processes. However the D-value for LTSF has to be determined at extra cost.

A microbiological laboratory is required for evaluation.

The suspension is available with different populations. The spores are located in 40 % ethanol/water.
