Bacillus atrophaeus spore suspensions (# 9372) are used to inoculate instruments, carrier material and to monitor the success of dry heat sterilization processes. This suspension can also be used to monitor ethylene oxide sterilization processes.

A microbiological laboratory is required for evaluation.

The suspension is available with different populations. The spores are located in 40 % ethanol/water.
